Yo Momma!

About 5 years ago, I swore off MTV because I was so tired of their self-involved shit. It seemed that ever show was about how some no talent and/or reality star was complaining about life and how bad ass they were. It was just so annoying. Last Month, I lifted the embargo because I have become out of touch with modern-day society. Anyway, I've thumbed thru quite a few shows. Next, Real World, Date My Mom, etc. They're all low-production-cost "staged" shows that exploit the weakminded youth that will say whatever the producers tell them either because A) they are 18 and are used to being told what to do OR B) figure it is their only way to be on TV.

Let me clear the air and establish that I am not a content snob whatsoever. For instance: I just spent 5 minutes debating whether to watch P.C.U., Top Secret!, or Cheap Trick(Conan O'Brien) while writing this blog. So my favorite out of these MTV shows is "Yo Momma" hosted and produced by Wilmer Valderrama. I can't imagine many quips coming from Fez's mouth, but okay. It's a competition on who can talk the most shit. Canned jokes from the so-called inner city. It is so inane I am embarassed for the participants. Please watch it for a fantastic laugh. It is truly the "Studs" of the Zeroes. In 2024, some 32 year old guy just like me will forward a "Yo Momma" clip to his buddies to show how impressive his lurky 00's TV lore is. What a loser!!

Anyway, this is the crappiest/cheesiest show I have seen in decades. It makes VH1's "40 Mugshots Countdown" look genious! First of all, I didn't care about Pacey 's misdeamor the first time I heard about it... do I really need the F-Class Celebrity "blow by blow"? Also, moving the photo around my tv set doesn't make it more exciting. Yes, we have A.D.D., but we aren't fucking retarded. "Look at the moving pictures George. George, tell me bout Pacey again."
